El otro día los ministros de sanidad y ciencia presentaban un plan contra las pseudoterapias, desenmascarando timos sin base alguna y sin eficacia, con importantes efectos en quienes caen engañados en ellos. Hidroterapia de colon, terapias bioenergéticas con todos sus nombres, constelaciones familiares, homeopatía, acupuntura y tantas otras son simplemente un engaño, aunque popular, aunque practicado por personal sanitario y vendido en entornos farmacéuticos. Es un gran paso, pero en las redes se ha hecho más popular que un cantante enamorado de uno de esos timos, la medicina ayurvédica, haya afirmado que eso es todo una conspiración del gobierno con las grandes farmacéuticas. Y parece que son opiniones respetables. La presentadora de un telediario de la tele pública apoya en las redes la conspiración de esos chemtrails, el invento tonto de hace unos años de que las trazas que vemos en el cielo son prueba de que nos fumigan con variados intereses, y la gente, claro, como es quien te cuenta las noticias, se lo cree.
Son opiniones de gente famosa y todos sabemos que los humanos nos dejamos influir por ellas, nos sentimos más proclives a creer lo que dicen en los medios de masas, lo que se viraliza en las redes, lo que vemos en YouTube... Más aún: quienes nos quejamos de que toda esta mierda no solamente no tiene base científica sino que supone un engaño peligroso, como no somos ni famosos ni estupendos, quedamos como gente resentida. Y en el fondo de poco vale que a gente como Pàmies le impidan promocionar esas lejías con que los incautos se envenenan si luego se le invita a hacerlo en instituciones públicas, como cuando la universidad patrocinaba timos homeopáticos. Hemos facilitado durante tanto tiempo la promoción de la mentira que ahora proponer criterios de racionalidad parece extremismo racionalista.
